Accessibility statement

Traficom aims to ensure the accessibility of its online service in accordance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services 306/2019 (External link).

This accessibility statement applies to the Accessibility Statement tool.

Accessibility status

The online service meets the requirements of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level 2.1 AA in part. Non-compliances are mentioned below.

Non-accessible content

The content discussed below is non-accessible for the specified reasons: Non-compliance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services 306/2019.

Visuals

  • Contrasts: There are shortcomings in the contrast between the text and background in the hover states of the buttons. (WCAG 1.4.3)
  • Focus visible: The buttons do not always have a visible keyboard focus indicator. (WCAG 2.4.7)

Structure

  • Headings: Several main headings have been marked on the page. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Equivalence between programmatic and visual implementation Title-value pairs have been used for wrong purposes and implemented incorrectly programmatically. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Language of page: The language of the frame is incorrectly marked as English. (WCAG 3.1.2)

Form elements

  • Form groups: Not all form groups have been named or marked programmatically. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Form fields: The labels of form fields have not always been attached to the form fields programmatically. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Additional information (i): Misleading information is given via the screen reader in the additional information section. (WCAG 2.4.6, 3.3.2)
  • Error notifications: Incomplete information is provided via the screen reader in dynamically displayed error notifications. After pressing the Send button, no information is given via the screen reader. (WCAG 4.1.3)

Element-specific observations

  • “Accessibility status” group: After the selection is made, additional text appears under the group, which is not automatically read via the screen reader. (WCAG 4.1.3)
  • “Add new” buttons: Naming the buttons programmatically is not always sufficient. The “Add new” button makes the page scroll visually to a new accessibility deficiency, but the keyboard's focus remains on the button. (WCAG 2.4.3, 4.1.2)
  • In-page navigation: The programmatic name of the in-page navigation is in English. (WCAG 2.4.6)
  • Error summary: The general error summary is visually, but not programmatically determined. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Form submission: A notification of successful form submission is not automatically displayed via the screen reader. (WCAG 4.1.3)
